Meet Uncle Tony
Google defines having a calling as, “possessing a deep and persistent sense that one is meant to do or become something specific.” Ever since I can remember, I have had a natural talent for both spiritual communions and personal consultations. By the time I was 10 years old, I was communing with spirits and consulting family and friends on what my ancestors would call “grown folks business.” Though, like most modern day spiritualists, I wasted years striving to deny my calling in a foolish effort to conform to conventionalism. Nowadays, I use these natural talents, certifications, and learned experiences to help others to realize and accept the better selves that they are being called to become.

It’s hard for me to pinpoint exactly when my relationship with massage began. Because I honestly can’t recall a time when massage didn’t play a role in my life. As a young boy, my grandmother would task me with giving her foot rubs. As a teenager, sports massages were a nigh-weekly occurrence. As a young father-to-be, learning prenatal massage was a marital requirement (especially since the application of tantric massage contributed to conception of our second child). Whenever I needed to receive it, massage has always just been there for me. Likewise, whenever someone needed to receive a massage from me, my hands always seemed to naturally know what to do.
In 2020, on the advice of several long time and well respected massage therapist friends, I officially began my educational journey to become a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). My professional certification was earned in 2022.
When people ask me if doing massage is hard on me, I am reminded of that old Confucius quote, “Choose a job that you love, and you never have to work a day in your life.”

Bruce Lee was quoted as having said, “Empty your cup so that it may be filled; become devoid to gain totality.”
For me, 2023-2024 was a physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and energetically taxing era. But, when one has been filled with a lifetime of negativity, insecurity, trauma, and defensiveness, it’s not enough to merely empty the cup. It must be utterly destroyed, so that a newer and wiser vessel may be molded. When I was finally ready to begin forming a new future, receiving certification in Usui Holy Fire Reiki from the International Center for Reiki Training was my first step. Reiki has been a foundational component in both my personal and professional paths ever since.

I have always found the title of Tarot Card Reader to be wholly inaccurate. Though, most of us do begin our tarot journeys by studying a deck of artful illustrations in association with an accompanying textbook. The ardent student quickly learns that the cards are not so specifically and distinctly confined.
Tarot is a language that uses artistic expression, symbolism, emotion, and intention to bridge the divide between our physical existence and the esoteric plains. Like any foreign language, it takes patience and receptiveness to become fluent. And, like any foreign language, it evolves as cultures and conversations evolve. There are as many tarot and oracle decks in print as there are mythologies in human history and philosophies in the human mind. I have been learning the language of tarot since the summer of 1996 when I was gifted my first Rider-Waite deck. Yet, even now, I would only ever generously classify myself as a beginning - intermediate translator.

When I first adopted the title of Spiritual Consultant back in the early 2000s, I foolishly thought that it was self-explanatory. But, after decades of being called everything from a counselor to a witch doctor to a street psychic to a peddler of parapsychology, I have learned that my “self-explanatory” job title was not as simple as I had originally believed it to be.
To put it plainly, I offer professional advice and guidance on personal matters of a spiritual nature. A consultation begins with us having a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental conversation where we attempt to ascertain the true nature your concerns. If a spiritual component is discovered therein, we’ll work together to address that component using rituals, spells & root work, divine guidance, and ancestral wisdom.
